Mehmet Hakan Öktem started his
professional carrier in 1999 in
Roketsan where he served as a
testing, integration, and
production engineer.
In 2003 he moved to HAVELSAN,
where he worked as a senior
testing and integration
engineer. While at HAVELSAN, he
was assigned to Boeing, where he
worked as a System Integration
and Test Engineer and resided in
Seattle/USA from 2003 until
2008. Returning to Turkey in
2008, Öktem worked as the
Testing Group Manager at
HAVELSAN, and then as a Hardware
Development Manager.
Öktem was appointed Project
Manager at Koç Bilgi ve Savunma
Teknolojileri A.Ş. in 2009, and
later as the System Engineering
Department Manager. In 2016 he
took on the role of Technology
and Engineering Group Manager,
where he has worked ever since.
Öktem received his
bachelor’s and
master’s degrees from the
Electrical and Electronics
Engineering Department of
Hacettepe University. He is
married and has two daughters.
